Phillips v Lamdin [1949] 2 KB 33

This case considered the issue of a vendors duty of care in relation to the contract for the sale of land and whether or not a vendor was liable for damages in addition to the remedy of specific performance when they delayed in completing a contract.  Also whether or not an award of damages was appropriate for the removal of an ornamental door.
