Cooney v Burns (1922) 30 CLR 216

This case considered the equitable remedy of part performance and whether or not it was available to a man in relation to a contract for the sale of a hotel lease where the seller did not wish to proceed with the sale.  In particular, it referred to acts which would not be sufficient to satisfy the equitable remedy of part performance.
