Yango Pastoral Co v First Chicago Australia (1978) 139 CLR 410

This case considered the issue of illegality and whether or not a contract made by a company to a man was void because the company itself was operating illegally.  The court was required to determine whether or not a statute impliedly prohibited a contract.
