Pendlebury v Colonial Mutual Life Assurance Society (1912) 13 CLR 676

This case considered the issue of the duties of a mortgagee when exercising their power of sale and whether or not an advertisement placed in a city newspaper was sufficient to secure a fair price for a property at auction and if this was sufficient for the mortgagee to show that they had acted in good faith.
