Black v Garnock [2007] HCA 31

This case considered the issue of caveats and whether or not a purchasers failure to lodge a caveat resulted in the loss of a purchasers priority when a writ of execution in relation to a judgment debt against the vendor was registered on the title of the property that was being sold just prior to completion of the contract.
