Castlemaine Tooheys v South Australia (1990) 169 CLR 436

This case considered section 92 of the Constitution and whether or not a law relating to refillable containers was discriminatory and affected the freedom of interstate and commerce.  In determining this the court used a proportionality test to decide if any protectionist features of the law were appropriate.
